KYARY PAMYU PAMYU 29th April 2014 Shepherds Bush! and a lot of ranting about hotels

So on Tuesday me and Kyle went to london to see Kyary! I was really excited to see her again as her concerts are so energetic and fun-filled! She's one of my favourite people ever and I felt so lucky to be able to see her again! Kyle couldn't come last year but he got this years tickets for me for valentines day!

As we were sat on the coach waiting to leave, we glanced out the window and spotted our friend Matt waiting to get on! We were so excited to see him! We knew he was going to see Kyary too but he had separate plans to us so we just thought we'd see him at the concert.
The journey seemed to take a lot longer than it did, and we were all so tired by the time we got to London. The journey was made longer by the fact I had forgotten my 3DS (to play yoshi's island) and my ipod :(

We got the 10am coach to London which got us in around 1pm, enough time to get to shepherds bush, find our hotel and have a nosey around westfield... OR SO WE THOUGHT (dun dun duhhhhhhhh)

(If you just want to read about the concert, skip the next bit)

First of all there was a tube strike in London that meant we had to get buses everywhere. Luckily there was a bus to shepherds bush from Victoria but when we found the stop we had to wait about half an hour for the bus, which when it arrived was jam-packed with people, so we had to stand on the stairs (health and safety risks???)  It took about an hour to get to shepherds bush due to all the congestion (stupid tube strike) and we were all so tired :(
When we got there we had to walk about half an hour to our hotel, which wasn't in the nicest of areas. We were all hungry and tired and wanted to rest. BUT when we got to the hotel, 2 hours later, we were greeted by a woman that worked at the hotel, who told us there was NO MORE ROOM AT THE INN. (not literally but along those lines) She agreed to call her manager and see what they could do, but the only option they could give us was staying in a hotel, far, far away, for more money than we wanted to pay. Between calling the manager numerous times and waiting for an answer as to where we could stay we'd wasted another hour and a half. THE KYARY CONCERT WAS DUE TO START IN AN HOUR AND A HALF! We were all furious, we had nowhere to stay, we were tired, and we were nervous we were going to miss the concert.
Finally the manager offered us a room on Oxford Street free of charge. (but still nowhere near where we needed to be)
It took an hour to get to the hotel on Oxford Street (because of buses) and we had to walk half an hour through another dodgy part of london to find the hotel. We only had five minutes to get changed and ready for the concert, then had to rush back down the long road to get the bus.
We got back to Shepherds Bush at around 8, which is when Kyary was due to go on stage!

KYARY CONCERT!!!
Me & Kyle waiting in the queue for Kyary!

When we got into the venue, we went straight to merch but everything had sold out :( I was really upset because I really wanted a shirt as I had no money last year. I signed up to the mailing list to get a free badge and sticker too, which I was happy with BUT THEN the lady shouted out that they had 3 strawberry poop keyring's left so I snaffled one of those. I FINALLY HAD SOMETHING KYARY! hehehe

We were really far back because of the hotel business, but we found Matt and his friends which made us even more excited! We had to wait about 10/15 minutes for Kyary to come on, but there was cute music box type music playing and a giant bear onstage, a huge popcorn box, it was just like a toybox! ahh so cute!

There were so many different types of people there, cosplayers, lolita girls, fairy kei, all different types of japanese style but there were also metalheads, punks, goths and all sorts of people! It was a really varied crowd!
How far back we were :(

THE CONCERT WAS SO GOOD! She did all my favourite songs hehe. I think Fashion Monster was the best for the crowd though, definitely a crowd favourite, as was Pon Pon Pon, of course! I was so so so happy she did Cherry bon bon! It's my favourite! The whole performance was so energetic, her dancers were great and she had 3 different outfits! There was even a giant dancing bunny!
Kyary also had this sheet of paper with english words on it so she could try and talk to us, it was so adorable! Her broken english was so cute ahhh! I can't get over how precious she is! I'm so so so happy I got to see Kyary again! She's so cute!!

I got very sweaty from dancing so much! I had such a good time!
